Nauset Light Beach - In the Fog

I had been invited to join some friends for a campfire on the beach tonight. It was sunny and warm when I left my home in the mid-cape area. I had my camera all set to take some awesome sunset pics, and I even had a reasonably warm coat with me. (It's always cooler by the ocean.) As I neared exit 10 I could see the fog bank looming ahead. It was as if a curtain had been dropped; one side sunny, the other drizzling rain and air so thick with fog you could barely see ten feet in front of you. By the time I got onto the beach...

  1. Good pics, and those who do not live near the sea will NEVER understand how quickly things can change...

  2. What Old NFO and Lou said. You've taken me back to Oregon once again, Alison.
