Media Out of Control

Anyone think the media might have gone just a wee bit too far when they FOLLOWED TED KENNEDY HOME IN A FREAKING HELICOPTER?

Where have common decency and respect for privacy gone? Some will say he is a public figure and therefore it justifies the circus the media has provided.

I disagree. In fact, I'm ashamed that our media chose to act as they did.

Political persuasion aside, we are all human beings. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Kennedy and his family.

  1. Even if he isn't a saint, he should be allowed privacy. He just got a "death sentence" handed to him. Humans suck!

  2. Indeed, the media are obnoxious and indecent more often than not. Oh, if only they would apply the same energy to ferreting out the actual outrages being perpetrated on a daily basis against the American people by our politicians. Jerks!

Agreed. OTOH, it's kinda hard to be shocked at their excesses any longer. They're scum.

  4. The media as a whole is a bunch of evil buzzards circling anything they deem newsworthy.

The bigger problem is, about 90% of the public is clamoring to see whatever they produce, be it truth or fiction. If we could get rid of that 90% the world would be a better place. ;)
